Money moves...everything

Sometimes I wonder if our society will ever "get it".  I read an excerpt from a book published around the time of World War I.  The woman who wrote the book, a M.D., spoke about educating women for motherhood.  She envisioned that since women were now seeking higher education that soon schools would offer classes in mothering and thus allow women greater knowledge of that highest of all callings, motherhood.  I had to laugh given where we are today.  But it wasn't a laugh because I found it humorous.
