Crock Pot Lid, Oh Crock Pot Lid

So, if you have read the previous post about my lovely day where the Crock Pot lid broke in the midst of potato-carrot soup you may have concluded that I either need to a) buy a replacement lid or b) buy a replacement crock pot.

This is the 6qt version.  I have the 5qt version.
If I could find this one for sale I would buy it.

Here's what I have found.  Zippo.  Can't get a replacement lid for this pot.  Can't buy this pot or any thing else made by Versaware (subsidiary of Rival, I think).  I can find reviews where people LOVE them.  I can find them listed on Amazon but they aren't in stock.  They can't be found elsewhere as far as I can tell.




I am throwing in the towel on this one for now.  All the children are sleeping and my hubby is gone so I have to get everyone ready for Mass solo tomorrow morning.  I might even get some SLEEP first!

But only after I ask you, to PLEASE let me know if you find a replacement lid for the Versaware SCR1500 model crock lid.  It is stone, not glass.
